On May 23, 2019, AT&T abecame the first major U.S. mobile carrier to offer customers the option to pay their bills using bitcoin. This was facilitated through BitPay, a well-kmown bitcoin payment processor.
 

Kevin McDorman, vice president of AT&T Communications Finance Business Operations, expressed the company’s commitment to improving and expanding services, acknowledging the growing preference for bitcoin among customers. The integration of BitPay allowed AT&T customers to select Bitcoin as their payment method when logging into their accounts online or through the myAT&T app.
