On February 13, 2022, the Canadian artist Drake placed a substantial bet in Bitcoin on Super Bowl LVI. He wagered a total of $1.26 million USD in Bitcoin on various outcomes related to the game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. Drake’s bets were as follows:
 

  • Approximately $471,250 USD (around $600,000 CAD) on the Rams to win the game.
 
  • Around $392,708 USD (about $500,000 CAD) for Odell Beckham Jr. to have more than 62.5 receiving yards.
 
  • Similarly, $392,708 USD (close to $500,000 CAD) on Odell Beckham Jr. scoring at least one touchdown.
 

If all his bets were successful, Drake stood to win approximately $2,266,710 USD. The bets were shared on his Instagram, showing his support for the Rams and his friend, LA Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
