New York Yankees start paying employees in Bitcoin

The New York Yankees announced a multi-year partnership with NYDIG (New York Digital Investment Group) to offer their employees the option to receive part of their salaries in Bitcoin.
 

NYDIG's Bitcoin Savings Plan (BSP) allows employees to convert a portion of their paycheck into Bitcoin without incurring transaction or storage fees. This option caters particularly to younger employees, with NYDIG's research indicating that 36% of workers under 30 are interested in receiving part of their pay in Bitcoin.
