Tenesee Titans, become the first NFL team to accept Bitcoin payments

The Tennessee Titans became the first NFL team to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. This new payment option was initially for large and recurring transactions, such as season tickets, suites, PSLs, and sponsorship opportunities. 

The team has plans to extend Bitcoin payments to single tickets, merchandise, and food and beverage purchases at games in the future. The Titans worked with Bitcoin Magazine and UTXO Management, a Nashville-based digital assets fund, to implement this new payment option. 

The Titans joined other major US sports franchises including the NBA’s Sacramento Kings and MLB’s Oakland Athletics by accepting Bitcoin.
